For those of you who have not been here before, Back Porch Concerts is a series of “house concerts” held in a backyard in Oakland, featuring queer musicians. We are over 40 lesbians but we welcome everyone! Because this is a “private event” we don’t publicize the address but will send you the address and directions about a week before the event. The event is open to everyone so please feel free to pass this along or bring your friends . . . but please make a reservation. You can make reservations by emailing us at email@example.com or calling 510 533-4732. We ask for a donation of $20-8 for the musicians. Approximately 95% of the money goes to the musicians. We do ask for extra donations to help defray the cost of the accessible port-a-jane. Bring chairs to sit on, a picnic and drinks. The show starts at 2PM, and the “doors” open at 1:30. Looking forward to seeing you all.
If you’re not on our email list please send a request and we’ll add you to the list. firstname.lastname@example.org
